Brownrigg Hall offer holiday caravan bookings under the following terms & conditions

Payments – A deposit of £100 (per caravan/per week booked) is required within 7 days of booking. If the deposit does not arrive & you have not contacted me within the 7 days, the booking will be cancelled. I will email to confirm receipt of you deposit. Full details & an invoice for the outstanding balance will be sent to you approximately 6-8 weeks before the start date of your holiday. The remaining balance for your holiday must be paid in full at least one calendar month before arrival date. The 'Pay by' date will be stated on the invoice.

Cheques only please, payable to J. Benn – I do not have facilities for credit/debit card payments

Short Breaks – Must be paid in full within 7 days of booking. Otherwise the booking will be cancelled.

GroupsPlease telephone first before you book. I will need details of all guests in the group & ages. If more than 1 caravan is required, each caravan will need to be paid in full within 1 week of booking. A cash security bond of £100 per caravan will be required, upon arrival.

Children - 16 years of age & under, must NOT be left alone on the park or in the caravan, without adult supervision, at any time.

Security Bond - Please be prepared to pay a cash/cheque security bond of £100.00 per caravan booked (payable upon arrival). Providing the caravan & contents are found to be in a clean & satisfactory condition after being checked, a full refund will be sent to you, within a week of your departure date.

Damages & Breakages - During your stay, you are responsible for breakages or damage you cause to the caravans(s) & contents. Please report these before you leave. The cost plus an administration charge of up to £25 will be deducted from your security bond. Any remaining balance will sent to you with full details.

Gas Fire - It is essential the gas fire is turned off & central heating thermostat turned back to 10[or less], when you are not in the caravan. Thank you

Gas & Electric [supplied by our appliances] - included in the price. The two bedroom caravans have a full central heating system & gas fire in the lounge. Additional heating appliances are not allowed in any caravan. Caravan electrics are not designed for high wattage/voltage equipment. For your safety, please check at time of booking if you intend to bring electrical equipment. Any costs you incur because of equipment you bring with you may attract an additional charge of up to £30.00 per week. [There is no extra charge for a Hairdryer or laptop.]

No Smoking – Smoking is not permitted inside the caravans or close to any other guests visiting. Strictly No Smoking on the farm.

Cancellation & Insurance - Once you have booked your holiday, our agreement with you is a legal contract. If you cannot go on holiday & the caravan can not be re-let, you are liable to pay for the booking in full, even if you cancel before paying the balance. If we succeed in re-letting the caravan for that same period, we will deduct from you what you owe us (or refund to you) any such rentals received, less your deposit, which is always non-refundable. We recommend you take out cancellation insurance for your holiday.

Non-availability of Caravan booked - We would only cancel your holiday if the caravan(s) was unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was either not possible or not acceptable to you then we would refund to you all monies paid for the holiday. Our liability to you would not extend beyond this refund.

Access – Occasionally access to the caravan will be required [to carry out safety checks etc]. As far as we can, we will try to let you know in advance, if this is not possible, we will not leave an unaccompanied tradesperson in your caravan.

Visitors to Site - For everyone’s safety, please advise us, in advance, if you plan to have non-resident guests visit you on site. We will require name & address of all visitors.

Arrival Day - Your caravan(s) will be prepared for your arrival between 3.00pm & 5.00pm. If you plan to arrive at a different time or day, it is important you advise us in advance, so we can make the necessary arrangements for access/keys

When you enter your caravan, it is a condition of your booking for you to PLEASE...
a) Check the caravan to make sure everything is to your satisfaction, if not please tell us immediately.
b) Familiarise yourself & your family with the contents of the folder (on the table) it contains emergency contact numbers, park rules & general information.

Departure Day - Please leave caravan before 10.30. Please leave the caravan in the same condition as when you arrived. Thank you!

Keys - Caravan Keys can be left at the farmhouse [in the container by the door, in the unlikely event of no one being available].

Complaints - Should you find any faults or have any complaints during your stay, please advise us of these immediately so that appropriate action can be taken & hopefully the matter can be resolved quickly. Unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration.

Liability - We do not accept liability for damage, loss or injury, unless caused by proven negligent act or omission of ourselves, our employees, contractors or agents of the same, whilst acting in the course of their employment. This includes loss/damage to vehicles & their contents, and to personal possessions you bring.

Website & Brochure - We make every effort to ensure that the information and caravan descriptions contained on our website and in our brochure and the accompanying leaflets are accurate. We do however reserve the right to make small changes and we accept no liability for minor inaccuracies.

Please Note - For guests comfort & privacy, we do not allow animal/pets, tents, trailers, touring caravans or commercial vehicles onto the caravan park. Brownrigg Hall farm is a separate business from Brownrigg Hall caravans, therefore for Health & safety reasons, the farmer requests that you don’t go into the farm yards, farm buildings, fields, or touch farm equipment or animals, unless you have gained permission from the Farmer.
